ICL Rotem tests Sigmafine Advanced Analytics
ICL Rotem site has been using Sigmafine for more than 15 years to perform the daily mass balance covering the majority of the production chain from phosphate mining through the production of final products. Sigmafine's extended capabilities were recently evaluated in the context of a proof of concept project to perform the daily mass and component balance, monitor the data quality of the meters, and estimate material type and chemical properties of unmeasured inventories and flows. There was a satisfactory match between the Sigmafine-derived values and those calculated through a custom IT solution for both the component balance analysis and the estimating of material type and selected chemical composition through Sigmafine material and quality tracking analysis, respectively.
Bat-El Abitul has worked at ICL Rotem for seven years and was recently promoted to Production and Planning & Control Manager (PP&C). As part of this role, she manages a department of six staff members, all of whom are engineers or practical engineers.
Bat-El lives in Israel, is the mother of three kids, and likes learning Spanish, running, and playing the guitar. But what she enjoys most of all is traveling with her family.
